Yes. We work with local florists who deliver directly to patient rooms whenever the hospital allows it. For restricted units (ICU, NICU, burn units), we deliver to the nurses' station with the patient's name and room number so staff can forward the arrangement.
You need the patient's full name, the hospital name, and the room or unit number. If you don't have the room number, provide the floor or ward. A phone number for the patient or a contact person is helpful in case of any delivery questions.
The same-day cutoff is 2:00 PM local time. Orders placed after 2:00 PM are scheduled for next-day delivery. The exact cutoff is confirmed at checkout based on your delivery zip code.
Many ICUs, NICUs, and oncology units restrict fresh flowers due to infection control policies. If the unit doesn't allow flowers, we route the arrangement to the nurses' station or can substitute with an approved alternative such as a potted plant, balloon bouquet, or fruit basket.
Most hospitals accept flowers during daytime hours, typically 8 AM to 6 PM. Some facilities have stricter policies. We recommend calling the hospital's main line to confirm before placing your order, especially for specialty units.
Bright, cheerful arrangements with sunflowers, gerbera daisies, and roses are popular for recovery rooms. Avoid heavily scented flowers like lilies for patients with allergies or respiratory conditions. Our florists are familiar with hospital settings and can suggest appropriate options.
Enter the ward or unit name (e.g., 'Maternity Ward, 3rd Floor') at checkout. Our florists coordinate with hospital staff to locate the patient. You can also call the hospital's main reception line to get the room number before ordering.
If possible, we'll contact you to redirect the delivery to the patient's home address. If the flowers have already been delivered to the hospital, staff typically hold them for the patient to take home or notify the family. Contact us as soon as you know about a discharge and we'll do our best to accommodate.
